Jackson is never short on activities, especially outdoor pursuits. If you’re driving, bring your bikes, and enjoy the amazing bike paths we have all over our valley. If you are hoping to make a bigger trip out of your time in Jackson, a few of our favorite things to do are to soak at Astoria Hot Springs (reserve a spot through their website in advance). Early morning wildlife tours can be a great way to see the valley and her many wild inhabitants. If you’re into hiking, there are SO many trails that will offer incredible views. Our favorites are Death Canyon from the Rockefeller Preserve (in the National Park), Granite Canyon, Cascade Canyon for a long day hike among the wildflowers, and a never fails to impress flat hike going around Jenny Lake. Some of these hiking trails will be busy, so get an early start to avoid the crowds.
If you’re into water, lakes, rivers, and creeks — check out Jackson Lake at Signal Mountain Lodge (one of the most beautiful lakes in the world), String Lake in Grand Teton National Park for more of a mountain meets the beach vibe, and of course the Snake River provides ample good times for swimming, fishing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, rafting, and more. Please take your safety VERY seriously on the river, especially in May and June when spring snow run off is peaking. Always wear a life jacket, know where you are going, and be prepared for rough, cold water. If you don’t know what you’re doing, get a guide.
Check out the linked Visit Jackson Hole Website for up an amazing seasonal resource on what to do and where to go!

Yes. We have a lot of taxis in the valley that tend to be pretty expensive, and a few uber’s that can be hit or miss. If you want to explore the area while you’re here, check out the national park and experience the valley, a rental car is a must.
If you’re coming in for the event, and don’t plan to do a whole lot of other pursuits, there’s a great bus system START bus, that moves between the different areas in the valley, plus uber and getting a taxi driver isn’t hard, (although can be pricey).
Our venue is one mile from the main bus hub called Stilson Lot. If you’re planning to ride buses, let us know and we will make sure you get a ride to the venue. -
The event will have food trucks and provisions available for purchase on site. We’ve sourced healthy options, local eateries, and sustainable foods to be vendors at our event. For breakfast, dinners, and meals on your own, check out Dishing JH for the best food highlights of the moment. Our favorite nearby places to dine for breakfast are Persephone Bakery on the Westbank, Nora’s Fish Creek Inn for a hearty breakfast in Wilson, or the Aspens Market if you’re more into a DIY breakfast. Dinner favorites on the westbank are (not to be missed) Teton Thai, a Jackson classic with a cozy eat in vibe and delicious takeout. Or try Ill Villagio Osteria, an upscale Italian Eatery in the Terra Hotel. Finally, two great options right next to each other for mid-range sit down dinners are The Calico or the newly redone Sidewinders which are direclty across the street from our venue!
